Lori Laird is a self-published author who was born and raised in southern Indiana. Currently living in Maryland with her husband, two sons, and two beagles, she decided to start writing as a creative outlet. She began by writing short stories and articles on her Substack page and quickly found herself writing her first novel. In Ruins was published in the Spring of 2023.
