Marilyn L. Geary is an oral historian and author specializing in immigration history.

She has conducted over one hundred oral histories that offer insight into the history of the County of Marin in Northern California. Her community oral history projects include the book Marin City Memories and the film Marin Mind/Scapes: Art, Nature and Wellness. Her writings have appeared in the West Marin Review, Oral History Review, and the Marin Independent Journal. She is Board Secretary of the Institute for Historical Study.
