Below is an excerpt of one of the poems, of which there are 24 total.
"...Wanting
Vaguely
Wanting/gaining
Opened doors
More cavernous
Rooms, some
With skylights
Some without ceilings
Thinking
Too much
About facts
Growing
highminded
Growing unnatural
Like a plant through a
Chainlink fence
Instead of
Expressing
Love
For
Barely
Tangible
Beauty"

My Microfiction book is now back in print!

My 2010 chapbook, 'Blink and the World Goes Blank,' is now republished in the format I had originally wished: as a paperback! This second edition also features a new take on the classic cover, and an introduction penned by me, the author, which demystifies the creative process and the publishing process behind the original booklet.
Thank you to all who, over the years, have expressed enjoyment in the idiosyncratic world of 'Blink' and its wandering narrator!

If you want to delve further into my writing and the themes explored in 'Blink and the World Goes Blank,' perhaps with some kind of comprehensive companion volume, my 2015 poetry book 'Longing for Populous Empathy' is exactly the companion volume you're looking for!
