Libby Doyle escapes real life by writing extravagant tales, filled with adventure, sex, and violence. When not tapping away at her fiction, she works as an attorney. Libby loves absurd humor, music, hiking, and her husband. The Covalent Series, Libby's magnum opus (at least so far), is a science fantasy and love story in five parts. All five books are now available in Kindle Unlimited. ...more

I would study and become a Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother, a woman who can control others using solely her voice. Reverence Mothers have other astonishing powers, as well. I would use my skills to help exploited peoples. Why do I want to be Bene Gesserit? I read the Dune series when I was in high school, and I still remember the Litany Against Fear:
"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."(less)

My Novella is Live!

Hello all! You may remember that my action-packed novella Outer-Rim Rescue appeared in an anthology a while back called Summon the Stars. I was excited to be a part of that project. As is often the case with anthologies, the book has been withdrawn from publication so the authors can publish independently. Though it took some time, the novella is now live! I delayed the release because I was c Read more of this blog post »

"Literally one of the worst books I've ever tried to read. The premise is interesting, and I don't have a problem with it on the surface like so many other readers seem to (it's right there in the description, people).

But the writing is the worst. I l" Read more of this review »
The Cartel by E.G. Manetti
"This a deeply ugly book. Why are other readers more concerned that milord (uggh) is married with children than that he is a vicious predatory rapist. I thought I was going to be reading a science fiction and instead I get nasty repetitive rape porn. " Read more of this review »

“Anastasia...' The name seemed strange to me now, and her hair's rich smell. What was it I held, and called Anastasia? A slender bagful of meaty pipes and pouches, grown upon with hairs, soaked through with juices, strung up on jointed sticks, the whole thing pushing, squirting, bubbling, flexing, combusting, and respiring in my arms; doomed soon enough to decompose into its elements, yet afflicted in the brief meanwhile with mad imaginings, so that, not content to jelly through the night and meld, ingest, divide, it troubled its sleep with dreams of passedness, of love.
