MIA Update

Sorry I haven’t been around. My health has crashed and burned. Took everything out of me. Just functioning day to day is the best I can do. I don’t know when I will ever get back to writing. It’s just too hard right now. Not to mention a lot of other stuff going on in my life.

As the saying goes…life happens.

So I thank all of my readers, fans, and friends I’ve made over the last year and a half. My comeback was short-lived it seems.

I hope all of you are well. God bless and Merry Christmas.

Monday Positive

9cfc41933792b7214a143bcae5dba6f0For the first time, I had to use the driving cart at the grocery store.

The plus side, those things zoom pretty good…the down side I almost ran some people over! haha Okay, maybe that was the plus side too. :P But no, ultimately I hated it. But Hubs followed me around with a bigger cart cause my kids eat more than the little one provided on the zoomer.

Then we had t...

1 Line Wednesday Snippet

1LineWedSnippetI’ve missed #1lineWed over on twitter for the last several weeks, but this week is about family. So of course I have some tasty nuggets on that subject.

From On Edge (re-writing Rough Edges, my first book). It’s raw, gritty and full of angst ~

Jake

Yeah, that sick fucker had put sliding locks on the outside of every door in the run down trailer. At the moment, it helped keep his mom from inflicting more damage on his body. But her words echoed crystal clear from her room and down the hall.

Feel So Very Deeply

blessing and a curseCan you name people who made a huge, positive impression on you growing up?

I can.

I’ve been thinking a lot about those people, and it hit me how odd is that those who did make such a big positive impression are not a part of my life now—nor have they been for a long time. If I do talk to them, I can tell they have no idea how much they really meant to me. Or how much I really do think about them.

Without these people coming into my life when they did, I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am. Th...

Monday Positive: Changing Your Course

warning I'm unsupervised

<< This, cause I cause a lot of trouble when I’m supervised. When I’m not, LOOK OUT!

Sometimes, you decide you need to change course. Whether it’s because life threw you one hell of a curve ball, or you just need a change.

If it’s that damned curve-ball—realize that most things happen for a reason. Even bad things. Or maybe it’s just a shit time in you life—been there, have the scars to prove it.

In either case, you need to switch your course. Hop on a different trail. Or maybe even turn completely around.

It can be scary. It can turn your world upside-down. But know that Y...

Friday Feels

WTG MFI’ve always been open and honest on my blog. And I’ve mentioned it before, although it’s been a while, but I fight depression on a regular basis.

Fought it all my life. From mild to extreme severe cases.

Those who are familiar with depression, know that it’s more than, ‘cheer up’ or ‘look on the bright side’ or ‘but you have it so much better than so-and-so’….It’s not nearly that simple. If it were, trust me, we wouldn’t be depressed.

I’m currently battling it. Forcing myself to pull out of i...

Friday Funday/Catch-up

I promise, I haven’t been MIA, just really busy last week, and this week been Monster has been rearing it’s ugly head a lot.

But I did get in about 1k words yesterday on FIXT. I’m pretty sure most of it is crap and I think I’m going to have to delete a lot of it, but hey, better than nothing. I try not to dwell on the fact it should have been completely done by now. I’m just going to keep moving forward as best I can.

So here is my Friday Funny. Yes, it’s rude and yes I laughed my ass off! I...
