The initial story of how Michael Sayman started creating apps as a teenager was fascinating, but it quickly grew tired as he found success and didn't learn anything from his earlier struggles. ...more

Maybe my favorite book in this series because it actually had a decent structure. Not everything was perfect, but the action is pretty great.

I can't say they didn't warn me, it's right there in the title: Weirder and harder to relate to. Mary Lucia is a legend in local radio and her memoir definitely captures that legendary status and what made her so good as a DJ. But it also makes for a ...more

“The whole point of all this reading is to learn and grow. So, finally, talk about what you read. Think and reflect on the things you read. Process the ideas. Jot down the questions. Books stimulate thought, so take advantage of it and write it down.”
Kevin D. Hendricks, 137 Books in One Year: How to Fall in Love With Reading

“When the song of the angels is stilled, When the star in the sky is gone, When the kings and princes are home, When the shepherds are back with their flock, The work of Christmas begins: To find the lost, To heal the broken, To feed the hungry, To release the prisoner, To rebuild the nations, To bring peace among brothers, To make music in the heart. Howard Thurman, the late author, professor and civil rights leader”
