Andrés Ortiz García was born in Manta (Ecuador), a city that has been the background for a large part of his professional development. From the beginning of his life, his family was a source of inspiration in matters of faith, effort, and honor. Being aware of his sisters’ long study nights and the great strength they mustered to achieve their goals made him follow in their footsteps in the medical career.
