She’s a multiple Golden Crown Literary Award finalist and Touchstone Award nominee for poetry.

Downer lives and writes in the Canadian Pacific Northwest with her wife, two lazy dogs, and three chill cats. She loves to garden, hike, kayak, and eat great food.
