It’s wonderful for a writer to live near Washington, DC as I do. “A witch, a term created by those with no concept of what I am, is nothing more than an ordinary person with an extraordinary capability.  We’re just like everyone else.” ”
Jeanne Adams, Welcome to Haven Harbor

“This is who I am, and I couldn’t change if I tried.  However, if I had a choice, I wouldn’t trade my gift for anything, because I help people.  I know what they want, and I give it to them, or I find a way to get it to them.  No matter what you think, that can’t be bad.”
Jeanne Adams, Welcome to Haven Harbor

“Smugglin' ain't so bad, but killin's out. There's too many ghosts in space as it is.”

Gusto Dave Thanks for approving us as friends, Jeanne.

It’s easy to think that a writer finishes a book, sends it out, gets the big contract, and lives happily ever after. But the publishing industry is the entertainment business and there’s no such thing as an overnight sensation.

In the BE A STAR series on Chiseled in Rock, we’re looking at the roads to stardom for several giant celebrities. To wrap the installments up, by looking at probably one of the most famous authors on the planet’s biography, we’ll see that paths to fame, be they for a novelist or a film director, indeed overlap neatly.

It’ll be fun! Join us for Willie Nelson’s story today. Lady Gaga and a clever children’s book author have something striking in common which we’ll explore tomorrow. Friday we make the big connection with performing arts and a beloved bestseller.
