My 20th Novel

I hope to release two new novels by year's end, including the 7th PIT book, "The Celaran Probe", and my 20th novel, "The Created". The drafts of these novels are completed and I'm in the editing phase, working with my editor Stephen "Shoe" Shoemaker.

I anticipate the PIT book will get more attention since it's deep into a series, but I hope some will check out my 20th book because I've tried very hard to make it a special one.

Several of the characters in "The Created" are smart machines called artificial agents who work for their creator (which has an interesting story of his own). The book offers glimpses into many lives but the central characters are easily distinguished and slowly introduced so it should not become confusing.

The novel is set on the core world called Idona in the PIT universe. Those of you familiar with my work should find the setting familiar but the novel is something different.

The book is longer than most of the PIT novels, from 75-80K words written in three parts.

Celaran Probe Released

I have released the 7th PIT book called "The Celaran Probe".

Rather than return to Earth with the modest spoils of the team’s first Celaran expedition, Telisa decides to proceed to another Celaran colony site in an attempt to find living Celarans. New friends and enemies will be discovered beyond the frontier, while big surprises await the PIT team back home.

I'm also editing my 20th novel, "The Created", which I plan to release this month.

Thanks to all my readers and reviewers!

The Created

I just released "The Created".

It's a special project for my 20th novel, set in the same universe as the PIT series.

There's a nice fat sample available on my website, please check it out. You might be pleasantly surprised to see that a lot of the characters are artificial agents.
