Hi, I’m R.L. Thompson a Canadian writer, book hoarder, emotional tornado, and woman who once said I’ll just outline for ten minutes and ended up with a whole novel.

I write contemporary fiction full of heart, tension, and relationships that don’t always behave. My debut book The Telling Room surprised me (in the best way) by finding readers who felt seen in the pages, and my second release All That Remains of Us dives even deeper into love, betrayal, and fierce self-rediscovery.

If you like stories with feelings, the real, messy kind, we’ll get along just fine.
When I’m not writing, I’m momming, advocating and over-thinking plot twists in the shower, or at 4 am when my brain wakes me with floods of ideas.
