The University of Mysore runs a course on Canadian Science Fiction by Women, in which my short story Black Lace is taught! My friend Allan Weiss, a prof at York, told me the course was likely put together by Vijay Sheshadri. He came to Toronto from Mysore a few years ago through the Shastri Institute, which funds scholars travelling between Canada and India to do research. He was researching a course on Canadian women's SF, and Allan was his liaison here. There was some chat about all this on the SF Canada listserver, and we all agreed we'd love to read the introduction to the course, and also, we wish something similar was taught here.

They spelled Elisabeth's name wrong, and I'm not sure how current this even is, but you certainly find out the most interesting things by Googling yourself occasionally. I'm in great company and pretty thrilled, actually. Some of the other courses look really good, too! Black Lace, the story in question, appeared in On Spec's addictions issue.
