Carolyn Barrett

Carolyn Barrett has worked in the criminal justice system her whole career, first as a road officer and detective for the local police department. The last fourteen years of her career was as a magistrate for the state of Virginia. She has both a bachelor's and a master's degree in criminal justice. Barrett lives in a small town near Richmond, Virginia, with her wonderful husband, Jim and their rescue Yorkie, Moose. She has a son and daughter and four beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to take long walks with her husband or get a cup of coffee and hit the road, not going anywhere in particular.
