You are writing a story that is exciting and suspenseful, and you are typing as fast as you can--because of your own interest of what is going to happen next. And you should sleep, but you can't. And you are tired at 10 am the next morning, but it's so good, you have to read it again, from the beginning before you go to sleep.(less)

Where do I start, if I want to write a book?

I had a retired attorney friend who wants to start writing a book and he asked me where does he start?

1. VISIT A BOOKSTORE
I suggested that he begin with visiting a bookstore and browse the area on learning on to write. There are fabulous books on how to get started.
