Lyra Wren is a poet and storyteller born and raised in Indiana. She has a bachelors in studio art at Indiana University. When she isn’t writing in the cafe of her local bookstore, Lyra spends much of her time painting, reading, enjoying the outdoors, curating Spotify playlists and perusing astrological charts.

This book was so full of girlhood, whimsy and sensuality. It was a little short and I read it in about 15 min but I loved the title and the aesthetic, just wish it was a little longer so I could read more!

“One night my dad and I sat
Side by side, staring up at the stars.
And without hesitation, I whispered,
I don’t think you’re a good person.

And you are? He asked quietly.

No. I’m too much like you for that.”
