As a ‘tween, a healthy respect for classical (ballet) and jazz (tap and modern) soon gave way to a lifetime love affair with Rock & Roll. But for her, all music soothes the soul and lifts the spirit.
Rochelle came of age in the 1960s and Rocked her way through the ’70s, much of it in administration at UC Berkeley. A fortuitous trip to SoCal led her to spend the 1980s surfing through San Diego, with her hangin’ ten twin boys.
It wasn’t until the ’90s that Rochelle discovered she could make a living with her love of writing and editing. Published in regional magazines in Arizona and California, she eventually worked with a couple of small press book publishers before “retiring.”
It took nearly a lifetime to finally pair her two loves, Rock & Roll and writing, to leave a legacy in Blast from Your Past!
Whenever possible Rochelle refreshes her muse in adventures along the ocean’s edge, and boating, as far out to sea as the moment allows.
