Finally, when life got less hectic, she opened her laptop and started writing again.

NOT a Romance

My book is not a romance, although the title may lead you to believe it is. The only heaving bosoms are from smoke inhalation.
It is primarily a whodunnit with action, gore, romance, a courtroom scene, rich character development, and a flavor of 1800s life in and around Milwaukee.
Picture Bridgerton, except 100 years later, in America, and everything is on fire.
