In my consulting work, I see problems I'm not sure how to fix. As a speaker, I get tired of saying the same things. I write a book so I can learn deeply about topics I believe are important, and so I can solve (or at least understand) difficult problems. Once I start writing, my inspiration comes from experience (e.g., personal stories) and from reading great books.(less)
