The Bible is a detailed account of man's spiritual and religious history, brilliantly revealed through its stories. The creation story in the beginning of Genesis provides an overview of the spiritual creation that is to take place within us, the end of Genesis providing the spiritual works that makes this creation a reality. The Bible begins with the creation of heaven and earth and ends with the creation of "a new heaven and a new earth," symbolizing "a new mind and a new heart," through which we reach "new Jerusalem," symbolizing that "new Peaceful state of being" that so many of us still long for.
