Jennifer Gay Summers is a writer, advocate, and former educator whose work focuses on parenting, neurodivergence, and family. After her daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression, Jennifer became a passionate advocate for neurodivergent children and the families who support them.

Her essays and articles have appeared in publications including Chicken Soup for the Soul, ADDitude, Adoptive Families, and L.A. Parent. She also co-wrote her father John Gay’s memoir, Any Way I Can: 50 Years in Show Business.

Her memoir, Chasing Lee: A Memoir of Raising a Neurodivergent Child, is a story of letting go of traditional motherhood expectations, embracing differences, and finding unexpected gifts along the way.
