I was born at a very early age just north of Houston, Texas. My Texas roots go back to the Alamo, and my Irish roots date back to the late 1700s. I've been writing since I was about 12. Early influences, courtesy of my parents' home library, were Ray Bradbury, Louis L'Amour, Arthur C. Clark, Isaac Asimov, J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and a variety of Harlequin paperbacks. I also read many of my mom's college literature books. I did all of this before junior high. Yeah. I was a book nerd. Still am. Somewhere along the way, I made the connection between the name on the book and the stories between the covers. THAT's what I want to do when I grow up. It was good until it wasn't I was really enjoying this series until chapter 9. At that point all continuity was lost. Names were changed. Events were rewritten. The entire story fell apart because the continuity got lost. I want to continue the serie ...more
