Hello, I'm a filmmaker and writer. You may have seen my nature documentary, "Beyond the Garden Gate," on PBS. But, you probably didn't. Suburban Woods (Update and New Facebook Page)

We are now entering the summer months in the woods, and it's amazing how much has happened since I last posted seven weeks ago. After a few rainstorms, the vegetation seems to have exploded overnight. Everything is out now, including poison ivy and all the bugs. But believe it or not, I haven't seen a single tick, yet.
