Hello, I'm a filmmaker and writer. You may have seen my nature documentary, "Beyond the Garden Gate," on PBS. But, you probably didn't. I recently completed my second book, "In Search of Good Times," which is available on Amazon.com. My first book is "Musings of a Dysfunctional Life." People really seem to enjoy it. Suburban Woods (Update and New Facebook Page)

We are now entering the summer months in the woods, and it's amazing how much has happened since I last posted seven weeks ago. After a few rainstorms, the vegetation seems to have exploded overnight. Everything is out now, including poison ivy and all the bugs. But believe it or not, I haven't seen a single tick, yet.
