I'm Vivienne Mercer, a novelist by choice, a dreamer by birthright, and a coffee enthusiast to the core. It took a global pandemic and an unholy amount of caffeine to finally push me into writing my first book, and boy, what a wild ride it has been!

Born and raised in a small town, where the most exciting thing that ever happened was the annual pie contest, I've always had an overly active imagination. So, naturally, I spent my childhood making up stories where I was an astronaut, a pirate, a detective, and sometimes, a mermaid. In my teens, I fell in love. Not with the boy next door, but with words, the worlds they created, and the people who lived in those worlds. And from then on, there was no turning back.
