Character Deep Dive: Harper – Finding Her Voice in a Chaotic World
Harper’s journey in Glimpses of You is one of quiet but powerful self-expression. She channels her emotions into her art, often finding it easier to communicate through her work than through words. As fiercely independent as she is, Harper struggles with vulnerability, especially when it comes to love and her relationship with Liam.
What makes Harper truly remarkable is her resilience. She is not someone who walks away easily, and her loyalty to the people she loves, especially during their darkest moments, defines so much of her character. But, along the way, she also realizes that love doesn’t always mean sacrificing herself. Setting boundaries, learning to say ‘no,’ and finding a balance between caring for others and herself are key themes in her journey.
Her relationship with Liam is complicated and layered with years of history, but Harper is someone who sees beyond the surface. She believes in him, even when he doesn’t believe in himself. However, her growth is just as much about discovering her own path as it is about finding love. Harper’s story is about more than a relationship—it’s about learning to heal, set limits, and trust that she deserves a love that matches her own strength.
At the heart of it, Harper’s strength comes from her quiet determination to fight for herself, her art, and her future. She’s a character defined by resilience, and her journey is one of finding balance between love and self-care.

Behind the Scenes: The Writing Journey of Glimpses of You
When I first sat down to write *Glimpses of You*, I had no idea how emotionally intense the journey would be. Every chapter, every scene, every word has been a reflection of the deep internal struggles of the characters, especially as they navigate the complexities of love, loss, and redemption.
Where It All Started:
This story wasn’t just an idea that popped into my head one day—it was something that grew from little moments I experienced or witnessed, slowly turning into a narrative. From early brainstorming sessions, where I tried to understand what made Liam and Harper tick, to the late-night rewrites that pushed me to dig deeper into their emotions, it’s been a long but rewarding road.
Character Evolution:
Liam and Harper weren’t fully developed when I first started writing—they evolved as I wrote, and their voices grew clearer with each draft. Harper’s resilience and vulnerability, in particular, took on new layers as I explored her love for art and how she uses it as an outlet for the emotions she struggles to verbalize. Meanwhile, Liam’s struggle with his past mistakes shaped the core conflict of the story.
The Challenge of Writing Deep Emotional Conflicts:
There were moments where writing felt like therapy. Delving into themes of regret, forgiveness, and self-acceptance required me to explore some heavy emotions myself, and there were times when I had to step away and take a breather before coming back to the story. I wanted their journey to feel authentic, so I didn’t shy away from letting them feel broken or uncertain.
A Peek Into My Writing Process:
Every author has their own way of bringing stories to life, and for me, it’s a mix of plotting and spontaneous writing bursts. I created detailed outlines for major plot points, but some of the most intense scenes were written in the heat of the moment, as if the characters themselves were guiding the story.
As I move closer to the final stages of *Glimpses of You*, I can’t wait to share this emotional journey with all of you. There’s something special about seeing the characters finally reach a place of healing and understanding, and I hope their story resonates with you as much as it has with me.

Character Deep Dive: Liam – A Journey of Redemption and Self-Acceptance
Character Deep Dive: Liam – A Journey of Redemption and Self-Acceptance
Some characters are harder to let go of than others, and Liam from Glimpses of You is definitely one of them.
Liam isn’t your typical romantic hero—he’s raw, flawed, and painfully real. From the start, I knew his character would be shaped by deep emotional struggles, particularly guilt and the weight of his past. He’s the type of person who tries to shield others from his pain, often at the cost of isolating himself. He carries the belief that he’s not enough, no matter how much he achieves, and that constant guilt defines so many of his actions.
At his core, Liam is a protector, but this instinct becomes his greatest flaw. His story is about more than just love—it’s about redemption, self-forgiveness, and the realization that he can’t carry the weight of the world alone. His relationship with Harper is complex, built on deep understanding but marked by distance. Liam’s journey is one of growth—he’s learning to open up, to trust, and to forgive himself for his past mistakes.
Liam’s story is a slow, messy path toward healing. It’s about him accepting that perfection isn’t the goal—being honest and vulnerable is. His growth isn’t a straight line, but what makes him compelling is his refusal to give up. He’s not just fighting for love—he’s fighting to find peace within himself.
A Look Behind the Pages
Liam’s character, like many of my heroes, is shaped by his flaws. Writing him was both challenging and rewarding because he’s not the typical “perfect hero.” His journey is all about emotional growth and learning to accept himself in a world that’s told him he’s not enough.
For me, writing stories about characters like Liam—characters who struggle to forgive themselves and let others in—feels incredibly real. We all face moments where we think we’re not enough, where our past mistakes seem impossible to move beyond. Liam’s story is about facing those challenges head-on, finding strength in vulnerability, and realizing that healing is messy but worth the fight.

A tiny excerpt from my next book!
In the latest scene I’ve been working on, Liam finally opens up to Harper about his biggest regret—something that’s been eating away at him for years. It’s been incredibly rewarding (and challenging!) to explore the vulnerability between them. Here’s a tiny snippet for you:
“Did you ever think about how I felt? How every time you pushed me away, it was like ripping my heart out? You were my best friend, my everything… And you just left. I would have been there for you.”
His eyes finally met mine, filled with regret and sorrow, so deep I couldn’t help but suck in a breath. “Yeah. I did.” His shoulders hung heavy as if the weight of the world rested on them, but it still wasn’t enough for me. The explanations he’d given me felt incomplete, like he was still holding something back. Why couldn’t he just be honest with me? Wasn’t that what this whole conversation was supposed to be about? Or maybe I just wanted there to be some big reason for it all, something to explain why. I guess I wanted it in black and white, and that was never going to happen.

Hey everyone!
This month has been busy, to say the least... I set up the pre-order for book 2 in the You Series, Weak for You. It releases on the 1st of November. It's mind-blowing to me, that I'm going to be a published author of TWO books.
Things may have been busy, but I've rediscovered my love for writing again. I hit the dreaded block a few months ago, and getting through it took time and self-love, along with amazing people to support me. I wouldn't be publishing a second book if it wasn't for my amazing readers helping me get back up when I feel like falling down.
If you haven't read Memories of You, don't worry! The series is stand-alone but connected, so not much about the couple in the previous book is spoiled by reading out of order. HOWever, I would recommend reading them in order for the most swoon-worthy romance! I'd love to know what you think if you've read it <3
