I had a dream, not the nightmare I lived for many years suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol. My drinking started out just like the movie, "ARTHUR," and wound up just like the movie, "ONE FLEW OVER THE CUKOOS NEST,". From a likeable, loveable guy full of life excelling at everything I tried, accomplished equestrian, avid tennis player, the good son and friend to a hopeless, helpless drunk. My life went from happy, joyous and free to one of paranoia, insecurity, manic mood swings, suicide attempts, bouts with the wrong side of the law, anger and tremendous fear. PTSD and Addiction

I have PTSD, never knew I had it but the symptoms were all there from the time I was in the service, Hospital Corpsman Vietnam.
