İstanbul Üniversitesi- Edebiyat Fakültesi, Latin Dili ve Edebiyatı Anabilim Dalı’ndan 1984 yılında mezun oldu. Aynı Anabilim Dalında, 1987 yılında "Seneca'nın De Providentia'sında Tanrı ve İnsan" konulu teziyle, Yüksek Lisans’ını; 1990 yılında, "Quintilianus'ta Çocuk ve Yetişkin Eğitimi, ve Günümüzle Bağlantıları" teziyle, Doktora’sını tamamladı. Bu süreçte, İstanbul-İtalyan Kültür Derneğinden kazandığı öğrenim bursuyla, 'Universita Italiana Per Stranieri (Perugia)' de araştırmalarda bulundu ve 'Universita Italiana per Stranieri'den aldığı bursla, aynı Üniversitede gerçekleştirilen "Latina Lingua e Cultura" başlıklı seminerlere katıldı. 1991 yılında Yardımçı Doçent oldu. 1993 yılının 7-22 Temmuz tarihleri arasında, Olympia- Uluslararası Ol ...more
