Renaissance man at age 83? Maybe not quite. But Bill whitworth comes close. He was an infantry man in WWII, played drums in a USO band and then went to Georgia Tech under the GI bill. He had a career as a training executive at Southern Bell and later owned and operated a cattle farm. Then the acting bug bit him and he had a recurring role on "In the Heat of the Night", a starring role in an Atlanta TV station award winning documentary and recently played the role of Jackknife Jack in the film "Ghost Town, the Movie".
