She i…moreI don't think Sadhbh much cares if Chris wins in the end . He will never know if she got the tattoo or not. I guarantee she will never tell him. She is planning to get the tattoo to feed her own shame, not to make Chris happy.
Sadhbh had to neutralize Chris because he was dangerous to her and Emma. A sub has to trust her dominant to care for her not abuse her. Thus, when Chris became a threat to Emma, Sadhbh had no choice but to protect her. But despite Chris's psychopathy, Sadhbh still wanted to be dominated by him, and undoubtedly wishes he had turned out to be a better dom. She realizes that she does not have to obey his last instruction, and probably should not, but forcing herself to endure that final degradation appeals to her precisely because it is such a shameful thing, and shame is her thing.
If you want a little peek into my current plans, I've been concerned that my last few books including this one, "Victoria's Vow", and to some degreed, "The Domesticated Dom" have been a little hard on dominant men. I plan to have Sadhbh fall in love and marry a good man who is a sadist, but is not a psychopath. He will give her the degradation she craves but in a safe space, so they can have a mutually happy long-term relationship.
But you know what the road to hell is paved with. My intentions may be good, but once I start writing, the characters do what they want to do, which is not necessarily what I want them to do. Before I write the final book, I can't be certain what will happen in Sadhbh's life. I am eager to see if she will get her happily-ever-after ending or not.(less)

You then grow the story from that seed by adding characters, actions, and a plot. My current work in progress began when I thought of a woman asking a man to degrade her. After that it was a matter of figuring out what "degrading" means, and how it might create erotic situations.(less)
