It's time to start talking about stuff!
Hey there!
I realize I haven't been very active since I created my page and I have had a lot of things happen!
Just this past week I had my first ever book signing, which was so exciting - and honestly a little scary.
It was really cool to chat with people about it, answer questions and even send a few copies home with those that were interested. I have another one coming up on the 8th and I can't wait to get back out there and brush off my social skills.
To be honest, since the pandemic, my already rather low social skills took a really big hit, and it was way outside of my comfort zone to sit there with a picture of myself, at a table, and wait for someone to come up and talk to me. There were a couple people who made jokes about me sitting there awkwardly in the beginning that made me question it just a little further. But it was a great time overall, I met a few new people, some new people got a copy of my book (and a free bookmark!) and I even got a donut and some boba to treat myself afterwards.
Going into the next book signing I feel a little more confident, and I'm looking forward to meeting a few new people!
Other than that, I'm in the process of writing the sequel to Nightmares, this time with submissions of other people's nightmares along with my own! Along with that, I have two cozy murder mysteries, the horror novel I teased at the end of Nightmares, a four part horror surrounding a haunted library, and a drama about an enchanted flower in the works.
While I'm moving and getting settled, writing and being present will probably be pretty sporadic. But I've been enjoying working on the things that I love, and I can't wait to share them all with you.
Take care 💜
If you're interested in submitting your nightmares to be considered for my next book, the link to the form is below! You can be as anonymous as you would like, name, no name, whatever you prefer. I will contact you if I am interested in adding it!
