The third book in the second series about the adventures of Kestrel finally passed a major hurdle today, with the completion of the manuscript (that's eight Kestrel books in total). It's been a fun story to write, with an ending I've been thinking about writing since the first day this book began. Editing and proofreading are next - not as fun as the creative part, but extremely necessary!

"The Greater Challenge Beyond", the third book in the Southern Continent Series, will arrive on the Kindle and Nook platforms this week, if the cover designer and I can agree on the appropriate artwork for the cover. The writing is finished, the editing is finished, the proof-reading is almost finished. Grange finds adventure - lots of adventure - in this volume of the series, as the plot really steams into the heart of his story. It felt good to get to this point in Grange's story, and see the action unfold in event after event. There is presumably only one volume left to finish Grange's story line. Stay tuned and keep an eye open for "Greater Challenge"!

I'm relieved to report that "The Inexplicable Journey" was just submitted to Amazon for publication, and should soon be available for reading. For those of you who take a look at it, I hope you enjoy the story and the characters! This is the first book in the Goddess's Gambit series.Jeffrey Quyle
