Kouga-sensei's real [maiden] name is Risa Yamada, and she's married to fellow manga-ka, Tatsuneko, who's real-life last name seems to be "Kimura". Her drawing style is to draw the facial features before drawing the head itself in this order: Nose > Eyes > Mouth, or Eyes > Nose > Mouth, you get the idea. Yun Kouga states she usually makes a title first, then comes up with the story as she goes. Quoting:
"At the start. It (story?) is based on the title."

She wears glasses and loves to take strolls and her favorite manga anthologies are Shueisha's Shonen Jump and her publisher Ichijinsha's magazine COMIC ZERO-SUM, which is a magazine which has stories that combine both shonen/seinen and shoujo/josei elements, but is ultimately categorized as a “ ...more
