Life at These Speeds film released
Earlier this month, the feature film version of Life at These Speeds premiered. The film is titled 1 Mile to You, and it can be rented or bought from the standard online movie outlets. It is also being screened in selected cities.
My publisher is reissuing the paperback edition of Life at These Speeds to coincide with the film.
I should note that I cannot take any credit for the making of 1 Mile to You. The producers, director, actors, and the rest of hardworking and talented the cast and crew deserve all of the credit.

Life at These Speeds movie started filming this week
In the countryside outside of Jackson, Mississippi, principal photography is underway for the feature film adaptation of my first novel, Life at These Speeds. This production has been in the works for over ten years, guided by the tenacious and focused devotion of producer Scott Alvarez and writer/producer Marc Novak.

Book Launch Reading in Iowa City
My first reading from I Will Not Leave You Comfortless will be Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. at Prairie Lights Bookstore in Iowa City. (I'll finish reading at 7:40-ish for those of you who want to get home for the vice-presidential debate.)
