Hi, thanks for your question. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed Frail and Amends. I'm currently not writing anything and waiting for inspiration.

I wanted to make sure Guy wasn't a "bad guy" but a man motivated by his environment and ambitions. At times, he felt like the hero to me because he saw things most clearly. Not sure of the next phase of his story. He is a very multi-faceted character, struggling between hurt and hardness. Sarah leaving him probably only compounded his pain.

Thanks for reaching out! Happy reading. (less)

“And here I am stronger and weaker for everything that happened and desperately grateful that this moment wasn’t taken away.”
Susanna Ives, Rakes And Radishes

“At least it’s better than those usual compliments you insult ladies with.” She extracted her hand, which still tingled from his touch, and walked away a few paces, putting a safe distance between them. “You know, ‘vision of luscious splendor,’ ‘ethereal loveliness,’ and my all-time favorite, ‘dream of transcendent beauty.’”

“And I was just about to say you were looking rather transcendent…well, for you.”
Susanna Ives, Wicked, My Love

“There is a basin in the mind where words float around on thought and thought on sound and sight. Then there is a depth of thought untouched by words, and deeper still a gulf of formless feelings untouched by thought.”
Zora Neale Hurston, Their Eyes Were Watching God
