The countdown is on: Unspoken Care debuts in just 43 days!
I can hardly believe I'm typing these words, but its true, Unspoken Cae arrives in just 43 days!
After months (okay, lets be honest, over a year) of drafting, revising, and pouring everythig I had into this story, it's almost time to share it with you! This countdown feels so surreal. Every time I look at the calendar, my heart does a little flip between excitement and the kind of nervousness that comes with putting your creative soul out into the world.
Writers withdrawl is real.
You know that feeling when you finish a big project and suddenly don't know what to do with your hands? That restless, slightly lost sensation that comes from not being immersed in your story world anymore? That's where I've been living lately.
Unspoken Care is done. It's polished, formatted, and ready to meet readers. And while I'm thrilled about that, I've also been experiencing what I can only describe as writer's withdrawal. My characters have moved out of my daily thoughts, and I've been wandering around wondering what to do with all this creative energy that has nowhere to go.
Enter: A new christmas romance
Heres the thing. I simply cannot staw away from my keyboard.
So, I've started something new. Something festive. Something that makes me smile every time I think about it.
I'm working on a Christmas contemporary romance, and I'm already head over heels for these characters. There's something magical about writing a holiday romance, the coziness, the twinkling lights, the second chances, the warmth of family and found family, and of course, the possibility of love blooming during the most wonderful time of the year.
The goal? To have this story ready for you by December 2026.
I know that seems far away, but trust me, after going through the publishing process once, I know how quickly time flies. A year gives me space to craft something special, to let the story breathe and develop, and to make sure every scene sparkles like fresh snow under Christmas lights.
What's Next
For now, I'm splitting my energy between:
~Preparing for Unspoken Care's debut (just 43 days!)
~Falling in love with my new Christmas story world
~Reminding myself that the creative process is a marathon, not a sprint
If you're waiting for Unspoken Care, thank you for your patience and excitement. I can't wait for you to meet these characters and experience their story. Mark your calendars, set your reminders, and get ready, we're almost there.
And if you love Christmas romance? Well, you have something else to look forward to in 2026.
Here's to new beginnings, holiday magic, and the stories that won't let us go.
What's your favorite part of reading Christmas romances? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
