Originally from England, Valerie has lived in Southern California since 1969.

She has published two paperback books - NO ORDINARY WOMAN (her autobiography) and THE MAN WHO LOST HIS GENIUS & OTHER STORIES.

She has also published over 20 short stories which are all available on Amazon.

Valerie edits books for aspiring authors and moderates two forums on the popular writing site Bookrix and is co-moderator of the Facebook writers' group AUTHOR'S CLIQUE.

The joys of marketing

The good news is...the book was published. The bad news...in England. Without being there to watch them in action, I have no idea how they are marketing my book. They sent me posters and press releases in the mail and I spent yesterday talking popular restaurants, libraries and newsagents into plastering my poster and info on their windows.
