Daring to walk in the shadows, Erika Knudsen never came back. At an early age, she was intrigued and mesmerized by suspense, horror, and drama. The idea of “creatures” coming to life at night was a scary and thrilling idea.
Erika resides in a quaint hamlet northwest of Edmonton, Alberta with her husband and daughter where the dark country nights add to her nightmarish and twisting plots.

Well, first off the book launch for Darkness was a great success! Perks Coffeehouse was a wonderful little place (I have such a soft spot for coffeehouses, love ’em), they were very accommodating and friendly. “Any chapped ass monkey with a keyboard can poop out a beginning, but endings… endings are impossible. You try to tie up every loose end but you never can. The fans are always gonna bitch. There’s always gonna be holes. And since it’s the ending it’s all suposed to add up to something, I’m telling you, it’s a raging pain in the ass!”
