After a brief stint in government service, followed by another with a commercial firm, Salman Rashid discovered his ability to tell a story. For ten years he has done just that; first as a hobby and for the last eight years as a profession.

Widely traveled, Salman’s articles on places far and wide in Pakistan, from Nagarparker in the south to Broghil in the north, have appeared in nearly all major English language newspapers and journals in the country. He is author of nine travel books:
