Call for Chapters: Decolonial Sámi Feminism: Memory, Resilience, and Reconciliation

Call for Chapters: Decolonial Sámi Feminism: Memory, Resilience, and Reconciliation

Further examination of Sámi feminism is needed, as it remains crucial to continue decolonizing Nordic feminist discourse and scholarly research to ensure the unique, intersecting realities of Sámi women within the multiple layers of colonial and patriarchal structures are adequately recognized, understood, and addressed. The revitalization of Sámi culture is underway, yet, despite the substantive work of Kuokkanen and others, and despite greater focus in recent years on Indigenous feminism, ways of knowing that integrate Sámi feminism remain marginal, and a gap persists in the scholarship. The Indigenous knowledge and skills held by Sámi women may critically inform knowledge across disciplines and the broader scholarship of feminist theory. This collection will be published by the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Book Imprint (Common Ground Research Network).

Call for Chapters: Human Research Protections and the Research Community: Essential Partnerships in Research Compliance

Human Research Protections and the Research Community: Essential Partnerships in Research Compliance focuses on the essential partnerships within the clinical research community, including principal investigators, research teams, IRBs, HRPPs, and research compliance professionals. It critically examines the policies, best practices, partnerships, and frameworks that shape human research protection and research compliance programs. By addressing both foundational principles and emerging challenges such as AI-driven protocols, decentralized clinical trials, digital data systems, and structural innovations like single IRBs and reliance agreements, the book aims to advance current scholarship and provide practical guidance. Its goal is to foster ethical, collaborative, and accountable research environments that support the responsible conduct of science.
