I created 'Terracotta' as a way of therapy for my mental health. An avid role-play gamer with a love for history, the original story was created as four pages of bullet points for one of the games I played after seeing the Terracotta Army exhibition in 2008 at the British Museum.
Throughout my life, I’ve suffered bouts of mental health issues. During a rather bad episode in 2016, with the support of my loving wife Jacqueline, I decided to remove all the gaming notes and convert the four pages of bullet points into a full-blown novel, in a way of tackling my overactive thought processes and depression, and seven years later it was ready to release upon the world. What was my inspiration behind ‘Terracotta’

The inspiration behind the book came to me after I visited the Terracotta Army exhibition at the British Museum in 2008.
