I created 'Terracotta' as a way of therapy for my mental health. I'm an avid role-play gamer with a love for history, the original story was created as four pages of bullet points for one of the games I played, after seeing the Terracotta Army exhibition in 2008 at the British Museum.
Throughout my life, I’ve suffered bouts of mental health issues. During a rather bad episode in 2016, with the support of my loving wife Jacqueline, I decided to remove all the gaming notes and convert the four pages of bullet points into a full-blown novel, in a way of tackling my overactive thought processes and depression, and seven years later it was ready to release upon the world. What was my inspiration behind ‘Terracotta’
