Michael Balter is an Amazon best-selling author known for his sharp wit and high-stakes crime fiction. His debut novel, Chasing Money, received multiple honors, including the Best Indie Book Award for Crime Thrillers, gold medals from the Feathered Quill and the Military Writers’ Society of America, the Reader’s Favorite Gold Medal for Crime Fiction, and the 2024 Crime Thriller of the Year Award from BestThrillers.com.

A New Award for The Vatican Deal

I'm delighted to share some exciting news about The Vatican Deal, the second book in my Marty Schott and Bo Bishop thriller series.

The novel has just been named the Winner of the National Indie Excellence Award for Crime Fiction. It also received a CIPA EVVY Gold Medal for Thrillers & Suspense and was selected as a Finalist for the Eric Hoffer Award.
