I am just returning from an unplanned break from Goodreads. Getting married, buying a house, and several other major life events reduced my online time and GR didn't make the cut. I can't believe I've been absent for a year and a half. I fully plan to review the many, many books I read during this period, but I can't promise to give them the detailed attention I might have if I had reviewed them shortly after reading them.

I have no idea if anyone noticed or particularly cared, but back in October I decided to limit my time on the internet for a while. Goodreads was a major casualty of this experiment and my time here was limited to a handful of interactions. I'm back now, and I hope to catch up on a few conversations, and a whole lot of reviews.

The Poetic Pin-up Revue has published a poem of mine in each of its issues. Now I'm going pay a little something back. If at least 10 people purchase the May issue of PPR AND write my name into the referral box, then one of them will be chosen at random to receive a copy of my book, Wisdom & Dust. A second name will also be drawn and they will receive a back issue of PPR of their choice.

The drawing will take place on May 31st.
