Laura Zera recently completed her second book, a memoir, and is working on a novel set in South Africa.

Her writing has been published by the New York Times, Catapult, the Washington Post, the Seattle Times, DAME Magazine, Full Grown People, Quartz, and Bustle, among others. Laura’s first book (written as Laura Enridge), 2004’s Tro-tros and Potholes, chronicles her solo adventures through five countries in West Africa. She is a contributor to the anthology Write for the Fight (Booktrope, 2012).

Laura has lived and worked in Cameroon, Israel and South Africa. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Laura now lives in Seattle with her husband, photographer Francis Zera.
