Thug Lovin’ is my first Wahida Clark book. I have not read any of the previous books with Trae, Tasha and rest of the gang making these characters new to me. The book started off at a good pace introducing the characters and giving a bit of background. The author does an excellent job of setting up various sub plots very early into the book creating the potential for explosive climaxes. Unfortunately, for me in the end she fell short of her potential. Please don’t misunderstand me, this book is filled with thugs doing what thugs do, hot steamy sex scenes around every corner, and drama and more drama. Wahida definitely keeps the readers interest right to the end where she leaves you hanging. And yes I will not only read the sequel but I will go back and read the previous books. Thug Lovin'
