Disconnected
Lucky, lucky me. I'm spending the long 5-day weekend at a writers' retreat in the Adirondacks. No cell phones allowed; only a few minutes of Internet connection a day (which I'm using to write this post!). I'm astounded at the extra hours I'm finding in my day. I have time to write, to read, to revise and organize my writing. I also have time to take walks or runs, to paddle a canoe on a serene lake, and to nap. Who knew all the time that has been stolen? I'm considering swapping out my Wi-Fi for a DSL cable when I get home....
