Interview with Rayne Golay

I am delighted to have my friend, Rayne Golay, with me today to talk about her novel, THE WOODEN CHAIR. When she was very small, her mother used to read to her and helped her put letters together to form words. She read Rayne “A Thousand and One Nights.” When she was done reading, Rayne’s passion was born. From then on, she read everything with the printed word: matchboxes, newspapers, pamphlet and books, of course. When she was six years old, her father obtained a library card for her. It was one of the happiest days of her childhood. To this day, she reads at least three books a week.

Deborah J. Doucette, Author of Bad Girls

I am delighted to have Deborah J. Doucette, with me today to chat with us about Bad Girls.

Deborah Doucette is the author of a novel, Bad Girls, and a non-fiction book, Room In The Heart: Raising Our Children’s Children, slated for release Spring 2014. She is also a former free-lance journalist, an artist, mom of four, and nana to twins. She is currently writing a new novel.

Bad Girls, at its heart, is a story about family. At this time of year, what could be a better read?
