I am delighted to have Jean Viola Ryan, my chapter mate from Maryland Romance Writers and Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal chapter of Romance Writers of America and author of THE MARK OF ABEL with me to talk about her new novel. In 2003, Jean started writing Fan Fiction for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She says those weren’t half as fun as the essays she wrote dissecting the show. She decided she didn’t want to be writing about someone else’s characters. She wanted to be able to play with them.
