I am delighted to have my colleague, Letty James, with me today to talk about her novel Loving Trixie Fine. Letty dreamed of being an author ever since she was nine years old. She would scribble a few pages in a notebook only to find that notebook years later and say "Hey, that wasn't bad. Why didn't I finish it?" Many, many (more than she want to think about) years later she completed her first novel participating in National Novel Writing Month (www.NaNoWriMo.org) and has been writing ever since, even though there are days when it is so hard to crack the creative nut it’s easier to pick up somebody else’s book and read. Which in turn leads to inspiration, which leads to writing….
