Susannah Sandlin and Time Management 101 for Writers

I did a website chat about time-management a few weeks ago and realized what an issue it is for all of us. I tend to look at people who are able to write full-time, or who at least do not have full-time day jobs, and feel envious.

But what I realized from the chat was that we all have our time challenges. I don’t have kids, so someone with children would think my day-job time-suck was nothing compared to children.

First, a little about me and my time challenges. As Susannah Sandlin, I have a paranormal romance series coming out this year with Montlake Romance. The first book, Redemption, came out a few weeks ago (and it’s on sale at Amazon right now—okay, end of blatant plug). Under another name, I write an urban fantasy series for a “Big Six” publisher.

For contract reasons, I do very little cross-promotion, so I have two websites, two blogs, two Twitter and Facebook accounts, separate email accounts, etc. I do 60-70 blogs or online columns per month.

I have a full-time day job, and primary care for a senior parent and two dogs.

How do all those balls get juggled?
