Mario A. Messina-Azekri was born in Argentina and brings a rich, multidisciplinary background to his writing. He is currently authoring a science fiction-fantasy trilogy that reimagines the myth of Atlantis and explores the cosmic forces that shape civilization. A lifelong poet, Mario began writing at the age of fifteen and went on to develop a career as a criminal investigator for the Oregon Board of Parole and the Department of Corrections, where he authored detailed reports on complex cases for over 25 years.
