Well, I'm still working on that BDSM project. Slow going at this point, but I'm not giving up. I just don't want to force it, and it come out less than right. It's tax season so we all know how busy that can be. I'm also in the process of moving into a new apartment, so lots going on. I hope to update more frequently now, and get this title out for you all to read. After receiving the request to feature the poem I took a look at his blog. Very interesting and neat page, If you have time I suggest checking it out.

As you all probably already know, I'm a member of Goodreads.com and am a member of a couple really unique and amazing groups on there. Very supportive and fun to chat with.

I'm at around 15k words on my novella. Haven't wrote anything all week and that depresses me. So, tonight I'm going to stay up and write till my arthritis screams. lol Yes, I'm 25 with arthritis. Life just isn't fair is it? lol Oh well, anyway I hope to at least hit 20k tonight. I'm aiming for the whole project to be around 30k completed.

Other news: my classes, forensics if I haven't mentioned it before, are going well. I graduate in July and am really excited about it. Hoping to use what I've learned for novels in the future. Possibly combine forensics with BDSM 0.O just sounds interesting doesn't it?

It's been awhile since I've updated, I apologize. I've had a lot on my plate, not to mention the holidays are stressful. I had a good Thanksgiving, hoping everyone reading this did as well. Got a little Christmas shopping done, finishing it all up Friday.

 

Writing Update: I'm currently 13k words into my BDSM novella. I normally write by the seat of my pants but I've already worked up the whole plot on this one, lol. I'm very much enjoying writing this, and I'm hoping my readers enjoy it too. I have a few publishers in mind who I'll be submitting it to. One has already showed interest in it so that is exciting.

 

Both my son and I have been sick off and on for weeks. Can't stand that. So there is another reason I haven't been on. lol Well hope you all have a great Christmas, just in case I don't update between and then. Thank you all for reading this. :) I appreciate your support.

I've been working on a new project, a BDSM novel. If you're a writer, or at least have attempted writing, then you've probably read at least part of a how to guide, or some other helpful publication for writers. I soak all this info up like a sponge, because even if I don't use it now, I might down the road. So, because I have trouble writing longer fiction I'm doing a small step program. For ever 2,000 words I write I get to check it off a list. The list ends at 50,000 with !!! at the end, lol. Since I am now up to 6,000 words, I was able to check 3 of those off these past 2 days. Normally I'd be at my breaking point now, if not past it, but I feel fine and know exactly what to write when I start up my word processor tonight. It's working remarkably well. So, I thought I'd pass that on.

This book won't be out until the spring at earliest. I'm considering hiring a lit agent for this one. I've also made the decision to join the RWA (Romance Writers of America), after the first of the year. I'm also hoping to attend a few conferences this coming year. I keep getting advice to change my pen name. Everyone thinks its a cheesy porn name but its not, its actually a name I made up when I was 15. It brings back memories and I thought it would be fun to use it. So I'll take my chances and keep it as is. Besides, its not my name that matters, its my writing, and I think that will stand out on its own.

Well, after two weeks of extreme pain I was finally able to get my tooth pulled. It doesn't hurt right now because of the numbing but it will soon I'm sure. That's fine, at least the demon tooth is gone. lol I was glad to get it done before Thanksgiving. I loves my turkey dinner! I've been working on a BDSM novel and its been a lot of fun. My classes are suffering a little lately, what with everything going on, but I'm fixing it. I've also been a very bad girl. I've been playing a game called "Aika" It's sooooooo much fun. lol I've been play with my husband, cousin, and his new girlfriend. Well I'm going to cut this short, just wanted to update because I haven't lately but I'll post something bigger later.

This collection of short stories is special. Why? Because I wrote almost all of them when I was a teenager. Now, of course, I had to go back over them all and proofread. lol I don't think I've ever seen so many squiggly lines of bad grammar before. I polished them all up though and re read them. I like them as much today as I did all those years ago (well not that many years!).
